Happy birthday to my husband
Today is J's birthday. I am working on knitting him a hat modeled after the one Link wears in the Zelda games. It is about 60% done so far, but I am hoping to finish it up this weekend.
Wednesday evening I flew to Reno and came back yesterday afternoon. It was a pretty good trip - had to do a construction site inspection for work. I think maybe next month I will just drive out - the drive is very beautiful, it is just very long.
Tomorrow we are traveling up north to see J's mom. We are going to spend the night up there and return home on the 4th. We are also going to take Jessie with us up there which will be interesting. It will be the longest trip she has taken in the new car, and once we get up there she will have to be tethered away from where we are since she doesn't get along with J's stepfather. We are taking a big bone for her to gnaw on while there, so I am hoping it goes fairly smoothly.
