Is it only Tuesday?
It feels like it is much later in the week already. This past weekend we celebrated my mother in law's 61st birthday down at J's sister's house in San Mateo. I think she had a good time, though for me it was pretty exhausting. Sunday J & I just hung out, washed our cars, and drank margaritas. In the evening we watched True Blood & Leverage - both shows we just started watching which we find very entertaining.
Yesterday we met up with our friend Leslie for happy hour downtown which was fun. The first two places we tried to go to were closed so we ended up at Zinsvalley. Really good food, but we had just missed their happy hour so it was really expensive ($75 for 3 people). Yikes.
This morning J's sister called to let us know that his mom had fallen down and was being taken to the hospital. She is back home now, but it made for a very stressful day trying to figure out if we were going to have to head up north to see her, and trying to figure out what really had happened. I am just completely wiped out now.
