After much deliberation and debate, finally we have chose the winners from the awesome pool of entries received! Thanks so much for entering if you did, we had fun and hoped you did too.
Without further ado, the winners are...
Outright Winner:
telerib /Corker - “ Kriemheld and the Tezpadam”
Us judges unanimously decided this as winner! Out of the many outstanding Corker entries, this one stood out due to the nature of capturing the creepy nature of a “real” fairytale and the added twist of the restrictive caste system.
Runner ups:
silenceleigh “ Keystone”
Hespith’s fate and Branka’s poisonous madness were perfectly captured here in this fiction, and still stuck with the reader hours after. A wonderfully morbid and dark tone interweaves throughout, and the relationship was sad and poignant at the same time.
MissXVip’s “Sigrun Bookmark.”
An excellent example where creative use of the material given and technical skill shone through, creating a practical and stylish bookmark indeed! The use of colour, texture and positioning make this image really stand out, and the pose of defiance is pure Sigrun.
