Job interviews
Job Interview One: Tomorrow, 11am at The Stopford Building, Manchester University. To be Post Graduate Administrator for the School of Cancer and Imaging Science. Want it.
Job Interview Two: Thursday. A day of paid work with a view to doing a two month maternity cover at Breeze Hill, one of the worst schools in Oldham. Don't want it, but they're paying me to go, and I may be surprised.
Job Interview Three: Other random admin post at Manchester Uni on 1st December. Wouldn't mind it, but not as well paid as Interview One.
Job Interview Four: The motherload. 9th December. First interview for Trainee Guide Dog Mobility Instructor. If I pass that its a 2-day Assessment in January, for which I have to come back off holiday. And I still might not get it. Its technically the lowest paid of all the jobs (at first anyway) but its a teaching post that makes a real difference to people, part of a great organisation, and has a big career structure attached.
I have some other things to appy for. Needless to say, I've fallen out of love with Drama Teaching and mainstream education.
I love my wife and my friends so much. Been in a funk lately and everyone's very supportive.
