Preaching - Jesus is a superhero.
This next Sunday (12th October), I am once again preaching. By popular request, this sermon is very likely going to include the words "and Jesus is a bit like insert-heros-name-here isn't he?"
Its all down to content. The second part of the preach is all about how the life of Christ fulfills many of the classic heroic traditions from legend and from Campbells 'hero with a thousand faces' stuff. The rest I am going to leave as a surprise.
It will be at Claremont Church in Bolton at 10:30 am. I will be leaving SoS at some point on Saturday so I'm not still drunk while preaching, as I usually am on a Sunday morning when we larp at Ashy Valley.
