cicadas are so louddd
jet lag has been kicking my butt recently
that and i think i've been dehydrated. my back the past two days has been kiiilling meeee
ok but anyway. i've arrived safely!
keunseok & i got back from busan last night, visiting his parents/going to the beach. this sunday is the end of his vacation
he'll have to go back to work during the week and will stay with me on the weekends. boooo i need people to hang out with on the weekdaaaays~~ (ok i have those people, i'm just whining...)
on the flight from spokane to seattle, i think that's mount rainier?
incheon airport; keunseok met me there and we got some coffee & a banana shaped donut before heading off to my new apartment via the airport bus~ (last pic is on the bus using one of the

the next day we went to a pc bang and found some used stuff i needed for the apartment (bed, washer, fridge). this is at a cute & cheap cafe near sogang university, which is really close to my place
new favorite place!!
i liked that tree a lot, with those cute orange flowers~
and that's one of the ways to walk to my apartment. SO MANY HILLS
top is the "walking" way you can reach my place, bottom is the way you can reach it by car.
sunday we bought cleaning & bathroom supplies (stopping for coffee on the way), then went and watched inception!!
i liked it, it really lived up to the hype. after the movie we went out for some beer at a neat bar near where i live.
the only picture of my place right now. it's meeeeessy, mostly just because i don't have drawers or anything to put my stuff. i think by this weekend i'll have everything i ordered online and will then be able to take pics to share with you guys!
but, i'll say now that it's so much bigger than keunseok led me to believe! he said he told me it was small just to surprise me. but i have a room for the kitchen & my bedroom and then the bathroom of course. i like it~ the location is a bit annoying with the big hills that have to be walked up & down, but that's not really a problem.
monday we went to busan; i was so nervous meeting his parents again. i think i just always will be somewhat nervous, but hopefully it'll get better once i learn more korean. his mom also had a really serious talk with us that i don't want to go into just b/c it's so not fun...
but we went out for bbq that night; i just at all the vegetable side-dishes and drank some beer~ haha

tuesday we went to haeundae beach! the weather was really overcast and the water was cold, but we went swimming anyway
keunseok had booked a room at a nearby hotel for us for a little anniversary celebration, but i wasn't feeling well and accidentally just ended up falling asleep that night so we couldn't go out or anything
boooo
a cafe where we ate shaved ice. the ice was acutally milk and it was so good mmmm it was like red bean cereal or something haha.
last night we met up with keunseok's sister and his cousin and went out to this pasta place he likes. the two of us were still full from the shaved ice, so we shared the pasta on the top right (he ate all the chicken, obvs). SO GOOD. mmmm.
keunyoung took almost all the pictures at the restaurant that night for her food blog. she likes my camera and just had fun with it, teehee~
WII BANG!!! like a pc bang or noraebang, except with a wii! except, once again, my jet lag had me all exhausted (urg, i've never had jetlag this badly before) so i ended up just watching. but omg guys, it was so cute there. there was all these snacks you could have if you got a room, and you could do noraebang, too~
and now i'm going to go clean my kitchen & bathroom because they're sorta really dirty
the internet guy is coming later today, too!
so i won't have to steal the internets from this on-and-off connection~
