1) Do they have any daily rituals?
Everyday, he must take a siesta. They usually have 2-3 hours lunch break anyway in his house so, he takes the time to take a nap before heading back to whatever work he's doing. When it happens that he has an hour of break, he'll set aside some time for a nap, even if it's just for a few minutes. Spain knows the value of naps. Naps make him prone to sleeping late and insomnia, though. How he eats is also quite special. He takes a light breakfast, a heavy lunch and a very late dinner. Plus there are always snacks in the middle of meals. With all this eating, you'd think Spain would be bigger than he is, but it's probably countered by how he's always moving. Spain also likes to take long walks and he prefers to walk most anywhere he goes if he can.
2) What does their bedroom look like?
Spain's bedroom is pretty sparse, nothing fancy. He'll probably just have his closet, a mirror and his bed in there. It's just in shades of white and cream. It's not very fussy. BUT. His bed is huge, the kind that five people can roll around in and still be comfortable. He has lots of pillows that are probably as long as he is and all very soft and huggable. Other defining features of his bedroom are the wide windows/French doors and the balcony. He likes looking out at a view. In his homes in Seville and Cadiz, the windows/French doors are usually left open to let the sea breeze in.
5) Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
Spain likes to bathe as it's quite hot in his house. Usually, he just takes a shower with the usual shampoo, conditioner and body wash. When he has the time or when it's after a long hard day's work on his gardens or anywhere else, he likes to take a long, warm soak in a bathtub, sometimes he even falls asleep in the tub. During the time when the Romans then the Moors were in control of Spain, he took a lot more baths than he does nowadays, even more than once in a day because he was always running around getting himself dirty. He was less appreciative of baths back then, obviously.
As for work and personal spaces, he mostly keeps his spaces clean though there's usually clutter lying around. He's just a pack rat and he has so much stuff. He's more disorganized than sloppy, really.
8) Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
Food! I am of the belief that Spain is a foodie. He likes to go around finding new things to eat and cook. He'll try and eat anything (he ate and liked England's marmite, remember?) at least once. He also loves spending time with his friends and family, even better if it's over food. He feels that being able to indulge in good food and company is a blessing.
19) What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
A lot of things, mostly if Romano and the others he care about are doing okay. He prays before he sleeps, thanking God for all his blessings for that day and wishing the best for everyone. He tries not to think about work or the economy or else he'd end up not sleeping at all.
21) Turn ons? Turn offs?
His nape and scalp are actually quite sensitive, probably also his ears. If you pay gentle, loving attention to them, he's yours. Heck, just be loving and affectionate with him, he's all yours. Spain is very physically affectionate, but not a lot of people seem to have the inclination or ability to reciprocate. There's also his thing for maid dresses, sex outdoors and teasing (whether he's aware he's doing it or not). For women, he generally likes curvy women because they are cuddly. For men, he can just end up liking who he likes, really. I think he's more attuned to men's personalities. Personality-wise, he doesn't really have a type. He ends up liking people for different reasons. Sometimes he can't even define them at all. He just likes them or they're just attractive to him.
As for turn offs... Doing things against his consent. Being tied up, particularly his wrists and around his neck. He's not much for bondage. He wouldn't be good at S&M though he'd probably be able to take pain like nobody's business.
33) Concept of home and family?
Home is his house, the whole country of Spain and its people are his family, of course. However, if we're talking about a more specific place, it would have to be his home in Seville, this grand mansion that has a good view of the port. It's home because that was where he lived with Romano, Belgium and the Netherlands and it will always hold those memories. Even if they've gone on to their own homes, the Seville mansion will always be their home away from home in Spain, at least that's what Spain likes to think. Hopefully they think the same way. His "nuclear" family consists of Portugal, Romano, Italy, Belgium, Ned and France. His extended family includes the other Mediterraneans (Monaco, Greece, Turkey, etc.) and his former colonies, whom he still likes to think of as his children. He's also sort of adopted Prussia, Germany, Austria and Hungary, too.
34) Thoughts on privacy?
WHAT IS PRIVACY? Spain is pretty open about himself and what he thinks and feels, so it's usually TMI for him.
36) What makes him feel guilty?
When he feels that he's not doing a good enough job of whatever it is he decides to do and it affects other people. Or just hurting other people in general. There are times when he says or does things that hurts others and he doesn't notice. When he realizes or someone tells him, he'll feel guilty because usually he believes he's only doing what is right and just. To know that he hurt people because of what he believed in makes him guilty. There are exceptions to this, though.
39) What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?
Sleeeeeep. Lots and lots of sleep. Also some strong, black coffee and something to eat with it, preferably something sweet.
40) Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?
I think he doesn't have any of those types of complexes. He's a pretty easy-going guy and he knows what he's capable of and what he's done. He's pretty secure in himself and doesn't feel the need to feel especially proud of his past or feel sorry for himself for what he's going through now. He just does and hopes for the best.
47) If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?
He seems to like other people with inner strength, someone who's able to surpass life's challenges and come out better for them. He also would like someone who would accept him the way he is. Spain knows he's a bit of a character whom people find a lot of fault, so to have someone just love him for him, is something important to him.
48) How do they express love?
WITH THE FIERY PASSION OF THE MEDITERRANEAN SUN--! He expresses it in all ways he can, through physical affection, what he says, what he does. Even with what he doesn't say or do. Let's just say that if Spain loves you, you will know. He can also be quite clingy when he loves somebody. You'll have to pry him off with a crowbar for him to get off, but then he'd come back and cling on to you anyway after you're done.
