Review of Episode // Episode Fic:

I'll start this by saying that I LOVED James Caan in this episode! His sarcasm, humor, old fashioned and very New Yorker style was phenomenal and very fitting. I really laugh a lot on all of his scenes, specially the "pretend I'm an idiot" part. Also funny were the names he gave to Danny like Muscles and Hairdo.

How cute was Danny being overprotective about Grace, and telling her that boys always have motives and that particular boy was evil?! I have a feeling that he'll have lots of headaches in the future, because Grace is going to be a heartbreaker.

And let's not forget about Max, who was incredible (as usual) and his worriness when the van/body got stollen, priceless! Not to mention his relief when they found the body and he yelled that the body was Ok (except for the being dead part) LOL. Masi Oki is doing an amazing job portraying a geek, peculiar and very lovable character.

Also, Kamekona is always fun to watch, he's like that character that is not essencial to the show, but that brings so much soul and personality that everybody starts to love him. I found it hilarious when Tony said that he had a guy and it turned out it was him, and than Danny and him started a little argument saying that he was also their guy, and his answer was simple, there is enough of him for everybody LOL

I think as far as the murder case went, the plot wasn't very good, I mean no good twist because as soon as they mentioned that that woman had a partner, my mind went straigh to the victms' son in law.

Now, I didn't like the actress that played the victim's daughter... I mean, at the end, she had just found out that her husband married her in the first place to apply a con and her father had beeing murdered by his partner, and she was just smiling, like nothing happened?!

Also, I've noticed that lately Chin Ho has been having less and less screentime, and that's totally unfair, he is such an awesome character.

The scenes with the members of the team, along with Archer's interaction with them all was more than enough for me. Really liked Tony Archer, even though they over used him (what's up with putting an actor they like in every single scene?!). And now the door is open for a re-appearance (maybe as Steve and Danny's marriage counselour), which I think it's a great catch on the producers part, just as long as he shows up as a consultor just to help out a little and not take over the investigation, I'll be more than happy to have him as a recurring guest star.

The ending was perfect, with Steve and Danny just chilling out, barefooted on the boat, enjoying the true New York Pizza (because let's be honest, it's one hell of a pizza), I alway like to see the team out of the office, it gives us more insight on the characters's personalities.

All in all, this episode was a very good one, with a good amount of comedy and great acting.
