This is an email from CBCOM's faculty advisor about science day. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. She is too cute. I want to volunteer more...like REAL volunteering, not the "come in, make a bed, watch a surgery, and get free lunch for the whole week" crap I do at the hospital. That one just makes me feel guilty. Anyways, I figured Carrie and Alison would enjoy reading this:

You guys were all AWESOME!

A Big thanks, not only did my own kids talk endlessly about how great of
a time they had (and all the science they learned) but I overheard other
kids talking as well. One kid was just going on about slime and another
about his cool lava lamp. [<----*probably cuz it exploded from all the acetone you put in, Carrie!!]

You should feel very proud of your hard work and what you have
accomplished. Who knows how many young kids found out last night that
they would like to grow up to be just like you!

Thank you from UMBC and from myself and Dr LaCourse. You made a difference.
