I am a very goal oriented person. So this has me thinking, what is the difference between a goal and wish?
Goal:the result or achievement toward which effort is directed; aim; end.
Wish: to want; desire; long for (usually followed by an infinitive or a clause): I wish to travel. I wish that it were morning.
This drastically changes my approach to this question. lol
My other approach I think for this will be to wish for things in my personal life, as opposed to wishing for world peace, or to solve hunger. I think that will make it more personal.
Here goes...
1. I wish to have a long happy life with Bryan.
2. I wish for my parents to live a long, quality life.
3. I wish to have financial stability.
4. I wish to travel around the world to where all my ancestors are from. Particularily, Quebec, France, Wales, Ireland, and all over the United States.
5. I wish to have at least two children.
6. I wish to run the NYC marathon
7. I wish to stay physically active, whether it's still running, or something else.
8. I wish for my uncle to realize he's done something wrong and try to make it up to us.
9. I wish for my Grandpa to be as comfortable as he can, and not suffer prior to his death.
10. I wish to be happy as an attorney, and that I've made the right choice.
wishes,
