Food
Breakfast: sandwich made with 1 egg, 1 slice low sodium bacon, 1 slice of aged cheddar, 1 whole grain English muffin, 1 clementine
Snack: 1.5 cups strawberries
Lunch: 2 slices 7 grain bread, 1.5 tbs organic peanut butter, 1 tbs strawberry jam, oatmeal cookies (after my blood donation)
Snack: 1 tbs organic peanut butter (is this a trend?)
Dinner: spaghetti with homemade meat marinara
Water: 2 liters at work then 1+ liter at home
Exercise
Not much besides some prepping in the lab and walking to and from donation bus, over 7500 steps (not bad)
Smoking
Five cigarettes
Mental state
Feel bad about reminiscing while G is watching tv with me, should start focusing on our time again, lots to discuss
Some revelations about work and how to improve things. Still don't know if it's all worth it though. Lots of good people have or are leaving which makes you feel like maybe you're missing something. Want to believe that I can fix things, make a difference but will it be noticed or even work out for the best? But I'm so pigeon-holed in my skill set with the technical chemistry and the IT related extra stuff. Would there be something for me out there or am I too late? The climate is not great for anybody, no matter where they are.
