There's no doubt Wetherby and Beckett had met before, and these scenarios are entirely feasible gap-fillers.

I particularly like the third one- knowing you were suspected of murder probably would mess with your mind! Cutler may have decided, he had the rep anyway so he might as well live up to it.

I think it works out well that we aren't told how they met before, because we can come up with so many vastly different theories and they can all work.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!! How delightful! I loved all three a lot. Mine was so sweet, awww tiny Cutler is cute. Poor Weatherby, though, Elizabeth definitely won't be like that. lol And the third was brilliant, what an exciting scenario!

I'm glad you liked them! Cute little tiny baby Cutler <3 If Elizabeth was like that she wouldn't have caused everyone so much trouble in PotC, would she. *dislikes her for breaking poor James' heart*

For some reason I like the idea of Beckett socialising at a ball, I can see that happening since he's upper class so it would be interesting to hear some of the conversations that go on there.
