Collection Title: Behold, a Pale Horse Author: Shytan Rating: PG Characters: Cutler Beckett Summary: Four ficlets inspired by the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. Warnings: -
Wow *iz in awe* Frightening look at Beckett but very accurate I think. I love it. You captured each bit perfectly. You're so good at angst and dark themes as well. :)
Hey thanks! I try to be versatile, and this community and my personal 'must write 1 fic per today during the holidays' challenge has really stretched me which is great.
I only have one more week before I return to Uni and slow down sadly, but at least I'll have my desktop there, and it has Photoshop on it (I'm an IT/Games student <3) so maybe I can have a poke at icon making and other fun stuffs to post on days I don't feel like writing =)
Oh, I like these very much, especially since I've had a new found interest in the four horsemen. (I'm guessing the both of us have seen Darksider previews? ;D)
Ah, one fic per day... Why did December have to have a plethora of projects due? But now that this essay is done I plan on finishing one of my fics before another project shows up. xD
And nope, I've always liked the four horsemen. Also I play World of Warcraft, and I love love loved Sir Zeliek, the rider of Conquest in Naxxramas. The four horsemen was a very fun encounter, I heal tanked Zeliek a couple of times.
But basically the story in WoW is that the 4 Horsemen are undead paladins raised and controlled by the necromancer Kel'thuzad (who you get to kill at the end of the raid), and he controls the bodies & minds of 3 of them, but Sir Zeliek still has his mind. Paladins usually use holy magic, but because the other 3 are corrupt they use fire and shadow, but Sir Zeliek is so strong in his faith, that "even in undeath the Light still heeds his call."
Apart from loving writing the fics (gosh I'm so glad I joined the cutler_beckett community), I also like how the dates on my LJ calendar turn from white to blue cos I have posts there. Tee hee. That encourages me to keep on posting =)
Ah, well, I became interested in them after reading a wonderful series called the Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony. <3 (Which is one of the greatest series I've ever read.)
I like writing fics because other then the fact it improves my writing (future writer here maybe?) and I like to make other people's day and possibly even better - inspire them. :]
