So I've finally got a full-time job. I'm a real adult now. Right? I dunno. Anywho. I'm a 'customer sales rep' at this place. Basically, what it is, is say you call your city paper's classified ad department, but their phones are either busy, or the dept is closed. The call overflows to my company, where we put the ad in for you.

Pretty easy, right? I think so.

I mean, I was hired the same day I interviewed. I think they liked me. Yay.

I went in at 11 for my interview, and when I got there, they had me fill out a paper application ( I had submitted my resume online) and a 3 page questionnaire. I got about half done with the questionnaire when at about 11:20 Bob (my interviewer) called me in. We chatted for about a half hour to fourty minutes, when he said that he was going to give me a spelling test. I joked with him that in 8th grade I had gone to the regional spelling bee, so he told me that he was going to give me the hard words.

Hard words my ass.

The hardest word I had to spell was 'occasional'. Needless to say, I passed with flying colors. Next, he told me that he was going to give me a typing test, to see how fast I could type.

I clocked in at 72wpm. He told me that Matt, the trainer, would be mad, because I could type 2wpm faster than him. Ha.

After that, He lead me over to this one girl's cubicle and told me to listen in on a few calls. After the second person hung up, she asked me:

"So how is your training going?"

"Training?" I said. "This is just my interview." She looked somewhat shocked. "What," I said. "This isn't normal for an interview?" She just shook her head. It was then that I assumed that I got the job.

After that, I chatted with the day shift supervisor, Trish, and at about ten to one I finally walked out of the building. I mean, damn. A job interview that lasts almost two hours? I must be doing something right.

So yeah, I got the job. I start on Monday, and I can't wait. YAY.
