I don't want it to be Sunday. I don't want to go to my nanny gig tomorrow morning. It's not worth the time to go, to get paid my peasly $6 and hour. They used to let me take eggs home but now I will have to pay for them. So I told them to forget it, I would buy my eggs in a store instead. So now my only bonus for working there is a free bag of lettuce every week. Lettuce. And $6/hr.
I don't want to sound bitter, because it is helpful, especially because I can bring my Zoëgirl along and because it's right here in the village, so there's no commuting. But I am NOT getting the things done around the house (renovations) and in my life (motorcycle) that I dream of doing with earnings of $70/week. All I'm doing is avoiding the debt hole. I'm breaking even, but I want to get ahead.
Last week a friend on Facebook posted a beautiful, mint condition Yamaha Virago for sale.
Isn't it beautiful? If had even a part-time job, I'd be taking some financing and BUYING this machine.
I also have my heart set on buying a dishwasher with my tax refund this year. Except that I got into a fender-bender and damaged someones vehicle on Wednesday. I will hear from the fellow I hit this week, and we will find out how much it will cost to fix his dented bumper. If it's only a couple of hundred dollars, I will pay out of pocket rather than ruin my insurance benefits. Which means no dishwasher. Le Sigh.
