I am interested in a field of work called music therapy. Now I think this would be a great fit for me but I am lacking in one area of requirements. That is excellent interpersonal communication. Feel free to give me a rating on how I am doing on this (be honest I can take it) and also how I can improve. Thanks for your help!

In any case, I bet you will have to play a psychologist-like role, so you'll have to get to know your clients? patients? on a close 'interpersonal' level. I think that even though you say your name is 'shyquietguy', the most truth lies in the 'quiet' part (well, the guy part, too, but that's beside the point). It seems like you can talk to people if you're in a social situation, but you do get quiet sometimes. I think you'd be a great music therapist.
At UC Irvine, they have a biomusicology department that researches the effect of music on the body. http://www.musica.uci.edu/ - that's their publication's website. It's really cool. Many a research paper has sprouted out from that site.
Anyway, I thought I'd give my two cents, even though it turned out to be about 5. Have a good week, Ryano!
