(no subject)
Alright so you probably know about my conflict by now...you know, the one about me wanting to be a band promoter and my parents not wanting that for my life because it's not a "real" job. No matter how many times I explain to them that money means nothing to me, they don't care.
And so for a while now I've been consulting God on this. Today, I asked Him to direct me to something in my bible that re-assured me everything was going to be ok. This is what I was directed to...
Psalm 32:8- "I will instruct you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye."
I was also directed to this...
Acts 17:28- "In Him we live and move and have our being..." Meaning God made me, and He has a perfect plan for me and has given me spiritual gifts which have been revealed to me. That totally makes me see that things will be ok...that some way, I know one of my spiritual gifts is wanting to make a difference for Him through helping out Christian rock/metalcore bands. He obviously knows this...so I know it's going to work out sooner or later
In more news, I went to my eye exam today. I found out that my perscription in my glasses now is actually too strong, so they got me taken care of, and I bought a new pair of glasses. My eyes are still really dialated from the eye drops and crap...it sucks like satan. I am not able to wear contacts...but it's alright.
I also got my nails done today...sure makes my little dimond ring look prettier heh.
