“Boo!” Chacha grabbed You from behind, scaring the tall violinist half to death.
You nearly jumped out of his skin. He threw out his arms, just missing Chacha’s nose. “Gah! Cha, don’t sneak up on me like that!”
“Why? You beginning to believe those ghost stories Gaku’s been telling us?”
You vehemently shook his head, his cheeks flushing brightly, “Of course not!” he declared a little to loudly. He laughed nervously. “I’m gonna go see what our illustrious leader is up to.”
“Uh-huh,” Chacha snickered as he watched You disappear down the hall, heading for Gackt’s office. “You are so easily influenced, You-chan,” he chuckled. “You should know better than to believe Gackt. There’s no such thing as ghosts.”
“Are you sure?” a voice asked. Chacha turned quickly. No one was there. Did he really hear that, or was it just in his head? A cold draft passed over him; he shivered.
“I didn’t just hear that,” he said firmly. He sat down on the couch in front of the fire, picked up his laptop from the coffee table, and logged onto his blog. The chill passed over him again. And suddenly words appeared on the screen. Don’t dismiss me so easily, Chachamaru. I am very definitely here, and I’m not going anywhere anytime soon.
