So sitting here typing on my new laptop that Mommy bought for me for university. Very pretty and..silver. LoL. So I'm enjoying just sitting here in front of the tv typing away. I love how I can just log on wherever I am. Anyways I went to my York Orientation yesterday and I must say, although truly overwhelming, it wasn't half bad. And I might actually be looking forward to it. I'm in Stong college, otherwise known as the "athletic" college, since it houses the programs of Athletic Coaching, Athletic Therapy, Kinesiology, etc. This means that all the athletes are there including the hockey and football teams =). Also, Stong is the leading college in all intramural sports. Apparently we always win. So yeah, the people there felt the need to emphasize always. I'm actually going back tomorrow to buy my textbooks and opt out of the health plan. Then I go back on Monday and Tuesday for Frosh Frenzie, the York-McMaster football game and York Day. Then another long and hectic school year begins. The only good thing so far? Next year, summer is twice as long..4 months

So last night was a lot of fun. Went out with the co-workers including Barb, our manager, who for the first time I've seen, actually got comfortable and just basically let loose wit us. We talked a lot about families, each other and of course, work. I honestly saw a side of Barb that no one's really ever seen before. I mean, she was always the coolest manager ever, but she actually just let loose and became one of us. A lot of fun. However, on the bad side, a lot of people ended up flopping, but for the five of us, we had A LOT of fun. Then after our dinner, me, Liz, Andre and Sam decided to go to Sam's house and just chill. Had enough fun and just talked abut EVERYTHING. Relatinships, life, boys, girls, work... It was probably the most fun I've had in a while. Definitely couldn't stop laughing. I'm honestly going to miss them now that Andre and Sam quit. Marc and Krysta are off to Brock and Laurier, so the "LS Crew" won't really ever be the same without them. We definitely will still be having another party when everyone's back at Christmas time. But until then, gotta get used to not having them around anymore. it really is only me and Liz.. and Barb =)

So for the rest of days counting down until the end of summer and the beginning of the last 4 years of school (I hope), they're pretty much busy.
