Well, since I've been done school for some time, I actually haven't been at school for the past whole week. Why? Because I was at school..literally. I spent Wednesday, Thursday, AND Friday at York University... seriously. Since I will be going there next year, I had my enrolment appointment on Wednesday. Well, it seems that I'm not allowed to take Criminology and Kinesiology because they are only open for those majoring in them. So then I got mad. What's the point of offering the Undeclared option if you won't let students explore. Anyways, so I picked my courses and then I thought I was fine...Well I wasn't. Due to the fact that I was forced to pick random courses, they all conflict with one another, which completely messes up my schedule. On Tuesdays, I have to be in school fom 9:30-6:30. And then on Wednesday I need to be there until 5:30. The only good thing? Come Winter term, I'll have Thursdays off. Anyways, I'm just hoping that the work isn't that hard or stressful. Then after my appointment, we met up with Steve's friend, George, who goes to York. Then we went home.
On Thursday, I had to go back to York for this Mock trial thingy. The funny thing is we won both our cases BUT we lost the points, which is what the competition is based on. Honestly, if it was real court, we'd kick ass. Well, we did kick ass, the judges just sucked. After that, me, Krysta, Steve, Kristin and Liz went to Town to get some food and then we all went home.
On Friday, it was Steve's enrolment appointment. So again, we went to York. He ended up with a WAYYYYY better schedule than me, which stinks bum. After, we went to get our York ID cards (I look like a crackhead) and visited the Fitness Centre, where we got our Access Card for that. Then we went to Town to have lunch and did some shopping. Then I had to go to school to work the box office thing for the art show. Then went to National to look for shoes, then went home and fell asleep.
So I'm completely tired. I've been waking up the past couple of days at 6 in the morning (an hour that should never even exist) and I've had to get on the GO Bus over and over again, which is actually quite relaxing. Then I had to wander around York at like 7:45 in the morning and wait around. Thank god they have Tim Horton's there. Anyways, so now I'm officially a York University student...and it's kinda scary..
