~sigh~ Nothing but shit. That's the way it goes anymore.
Jason got laid-off yesterday morning. Business has been terrible at the furniture store he was working at, so they let some employees go. At least he still has his part time job at the videogame store. Perry rehired him a couple of weeks ago till Jason can get promoted to assistant manager in October. He just got back from an interviw with Sears. He's scheduled for a second one tomorrow morning, which is a good sign.
Sears still hasn't called me back...what a shock... The thing is I did all the paperwork and the manager was refering to me as "new hire" and they send me for my drug test and said as soon as the results come back they'd call and set up my first day. There is NO WAY IN HELL that they should find anything illegal in my test. I DO NOT do stuff like that (except for ONE TIME, but that a few years ago and it was only that once). I haven't even been around anyone who was doing drugs in over a year. lol! And I haven't eaten poppy seeds in almost a year. I'll call them tomorrow and see what's up, especially since I am technically supposed to start Monday.
Oh yeah, I got the official letter in the mail last week stateing that I made the President's List at school, which is more prestigious than Dean's List. I was estatic! This should start to erase the terrible 2 semesters that I wasted at school trying to go for nurseing.
