(This post will mostly be understood by Pniky, Doc. and Bair)
So, a couple of months ago Mother tag a friend of mine while he was hunting and told him to slap me awake 'cause I had work to do. I had been slacking off in my care of The Sisters. So, gulity and nervous about what was out there I went out for a look and found that Mother and Fred had three new eggs and Malikite was looking to be released so that he could follow Doc's dragon (who he had a thing for) where-ever Doc goes. Also that something icky was looking to munch on a baby. So, I went to work and drove out to cast a protective circle around the nest. I also recharged the Balefire (not sure on the spelling for that one). It was a hard wait til Samhayne when the eggs were due to hatch. I gather a group of five and tropped down in some moist and very windy Oct./Nov. Ca. weather. The eggs hadn't hatched yet but one was starting to poke through. With a fresh potion or two we feed the fire and the eggs. One came out and was named Amethyst. She will take Malikite's place and help Mother. We all felt our energy peak or drain. I was drained from the work, but very pleased. I found that Kyn was playful after wards and am always thankful for my gaurd. My half-asleep water fox got quiet the charge and even gave a good-bye howl. My searcher found some answers and was glad to be welcomed by Mother and the Sisters. And my earth dragon sister who worked so hard with me was sadly more drained than I. Her totem was hatching and I was feeding from her to be able to function today. I hope she rested well.
We feasted and left our offering. The rain even held off til everyone got to their own homes. My thanks to the water kami. Then in the wee (about 5:30) I was yanked back to the coast where the last two hatch. Jereth and Belinda. Don't look at me they picked their own name. Blessed Be to you all and the spirits that guide you. Thou art God.
