the years just keep passing by
so yesterday was my birthday... i'm officially old now, lol. i didn't really want to celebrate cause turning 23 is no big deal. my mom got me some awesome clothes and the karaoke machine i've been wanting, lol. too bad no one will ever be around when i use it =) but i love it. rusty and i had a blast with that thing all day. then rusty got me a book (i've been complaining that i need a new book to read, lol), the new blackeyed peas cd, a dragon ballz dvd, and a super sayain goku toy (yes i loved that one more than any other present cause it's my favorite show ever!). so he did good =) then he cooked me a birthday dinner (homemade enchiladas with fresh bread and yellow rice). damn that boy can cook!
i got a bunch of emails from long distance friends which really made my day =) especially considering none of my friends here called me =/ and i've known all of them for at least 8 years if not more so it kinda hurt that none of them called me. hell, monica lives all the way in alaska now and she still remembered and called me the day before in case i got too busy on my actual birthday to answer my phone, lol. she also sent me 7 new tongue rings which i love cause they're awesome AND they glow under a black light, woohoo!
but the biggest thing that hurt... was that my older brother didn't even remember it was my birthday =( i talked to him on the phone for at least 10 minutes and not once did he tell me happy birthday. i found out today that when his girlfriend came home yesterday she asked him if he called me and he actually asked her why and when she told him it was my birthday he said "no it's not. her birthday is the 22nd" yeah, like that would've made it any better cause he still would've missed it =/ and it's stupid cause he's always bragging to everyone about how i'm his baby girl and how he carried me out of the hospital when i was born but after 23 years he doesn't know when my birthday is?! so yeah... that really hurt. that and my lil brother isn't home and couldn't call me =( he's only allowed to call once a week and he'd already had his phone call for the week. but as long as he's doing better then that's what's important to me. we're gonna drive down to see him on his birthday and we're bringing him home on the 29th so hopefully that time goes by quickly cause i miss my pee-wee =)
well... not much else to update on. i'm gonna go to my house now and start cleaning while i finish talking to jess. love you all and thanks for the birthday wishes =)
