wind turbines. one of the main reasons people do not want them (in the U.S. of course, cause we care so much) is because they are afraid they will kill birds. when did we start caring so much about birds? skyscrapers in major cities kill hundreds of birds because of the reflections of of glass, confusing them to thinking that they see the horizon. then they come up with this shit. a massive wall of glass than is killing more birds.
now i dont care so much for the birds, its just the act of saying one thing and doing another. if these assholes were so worried about the birds they would already have their hands full. while one person has to go through a bunch of bullshit to build a large scale pinwheel, another can build a known hazard and worry about the consequences later. so lets build our wind turbines already, and worry about the repercussions later. besides, thats how we do things in america. who knows? maybe something good will come out of it
