ive been super unproductive lately. i blame the amazing weather, including the rain bc i like it. i think its because all of the classes im in are incredibly pointless. if it werent for my gpa and a few required credits i probably woulnt go.

jewelry making sucks. im half way through the semester and i have one project done, a test piece. our next project is due monday and i totally got myself over my head. i wanted it to be somewhat worth my time in that class so im making a tetris-themed belt buckle. a strait piece completes the block, thus locking it. its looking good so far, but ive got a ways to go and some problem solving as well. im especially bummed bc i dont get too many studio classes anymore and this was a flop. a pricey one at that...

it looks like some of us are going to six flags this saturday. would you like to come? its half price so it would be about $20.

i bought my costume a day or two ago. i like it. im hoping it will last me a while for further uses. those of you that have seen it, dont kill it for those who havent.

halloween. Its a dead holiday (haha). I went to several stores looking for costumes or costume materials. i kind of had my eye out for a skeleton-print jump suit. all i found were various forms of bulky, pre-assembled, worthlessness. I liked the days when you could buy your items seperately and use a little imagination to make the rest of the costume. now, if you want a skeleton suit it comes in a bundle under the names of skeleton lord/pirate/demon/pimp/etc with silly hats and props included in the bag. the best thing i found was a men's black cape. why it was specifically a men's i do not know. men's selection is pitiful. girl's on the other hand have plenty to choose from, but still in little bags. the seasonal halloween store in dekalb had an entire wall of different ways to be a slut. most of them consisted of fairy wings and bunny ears, sometimes put together. that was the kids section. the adult section was fairly similar. i ended up buying mine at target. i was there to pick up a prescription...

this one had some creativity
