Odd days
So this week has been interesting to say the least...
Monday started out crappy. Work was the same, school was the same, was sleepy and annoyed by parents non necessary worry. They called me up right as I was walking out of my last class bitching cause they opened my mail. I had an early warning grade card mailed to me and they flipped. I asked what the date was that the grade was to and the said week 6...I calmly said that the grade wasn't even calculated til my midterm on week 7 and that grade is incomplete(I had an U). So just to stop their bitching, I went online and e-mailed my TA and as I thought the grades were not calculated by the deadline for early warning grades and in fact I do have a strong B. So that annoyance aside my day just kept going...
I got called back for a job I inquired about (the same day none-the-less...boy he was quick) and have an interview Friday. That makes me feel hopeful, the government job market is under heavy freezes most places. Then less than an hour after that, Peach finds out his mom was in a car accident on the way home from work. Her car is pretty banged up from what we understand, but she is perfectly fine...which is all that matters.
So that was just the start of my week...yesterday work made me happy that I am about to leave here. If my co-worker would get off his ass and stop screwing me and my other co-worker over it would be greatly appreciated. This man is a grade 14 and other then teach a training class here or there I have never seen him actually doing work, or seen the resulting product of him doing any work. He is an arrogant prick that my boss for some reason adores and he can do no wrong, where as my co-worker A and I are held accountable for his irresponsibilities. Because somehow we are suppose to do his job, and know to do his job without anyone telling us. When my boss was out of the office and the higher up boss dealt with us, she saw quickly that he was the problem and that she wouldn't stand for his incompetence. I love some of my co-workers here and will be deeply sad to leave the people who gave me my start, but there are a few I can't wait but screw over. Especially after my boss' attitude toward me yesterday...I do not appreciate being told when not to use my leave that I earned. She acts as if she has been here the entire time...she was off for a month then once she came back she hasn't been in the office a full week, she goes on conferences out of town. She tried to ask me if I was taking anymore leave coming up soon because RACO is coming and we are going to be in a crunch. I responded as politely as I could but still probably sounded snide by saying "I get my work done." Which is more then I can say about other people in the federal government.
Now today is only Wednesday...lets see where it leads....another interesting day?
