It's perfectly reasonable to be frustrated by what's going on at work. It's the unfortunate part about being someone with a sense of responsibility! Getting your sleep so severely out-of-whack does impair your ability to do your job well so it is in their best interest to get some of the stress off of you.
Shift work is hard and I feel your pain. I'm sure things will eventually calm down!
