Mango Tango
On sat night I met a girl from a friends app. Her name is Beau and she is Mexican. We both wanted to go dancing. I wanted to go to a Spanish club. So she suggested the Mango Tango club.
We met at 10pm and the club was pretty empty. I thought the club was probably not going to be too busy and probably not too popular. We both have never been there before.
We sat and had a drink. She told me that she cleaned houses and that she had a boyfriend. Then she knew a few of the songs that was playing and wanted to dance. I was a little apprehensive because I really don’t know how to Salsa dance.
We got on the dance floor and I was just copying the way she was dancing. It was pretty fun! Then my legs started to hurt. So we went back to sit down and have a drink.
While we were sitting at the table a couple guys came to sit with us. They both wanted to dance and I was like no because I don’t really know how to dance. They were like we don’t really know how to dance either. Then finally I was like ok let just go.
I was just following their moves and talking with the guy I was dancing with. His name was Augustin. It was ok. I told him I had a boyfriend and he was single. Then he asked if he could take me out and I said if my friend Beau would come with me. Then he asked for my number but I couldn’t give it to him. Then we went to sit down.
Beau’s dance partner really liked her. She was a little shy to dance with him where I wasn’t with my dance partner. He wanted to date her but she was taken. He kept asking and Beau and I kept laughing lol.
The club was really packed and they were playing some reggeton which I love and wanted to go dance. So we got on the dance floor and started dancing. My dance partner Augustin and I was talking on the dance floor. Then all of a sudden he was trying to kiss me. At that moment I was like whoa no. I moved away and shook my head. I told Beau what he did and we told them we are going back to the table and they followed. I was caught by surprise. At the table I told Beau we should leave soon.
I shook both of our dance partners hand and told them thanks for the dance. Then we both left. Beau caught a ride with me because she got dropped off. We had a good time and will probably go out again next month.
