Hinata was fairly certain that she was gladder to be going back to Fandom than Hayley was, all things considered. She envied her friend the ease with which she dealt with things.
The visit had gone well, which boded decently for future visits, but all the same, Hinata would be glad to go and get out from the watchful eye of her family.
Her father was there to see them off-a rarity in and of itself that Hinata wasn't sure what to think about. She could only hope it meant it was pleased, in some fashion, with how things had gone.
"I trust you will keep us updated as to your schooling," her father said to her and Hinata bowed her head in acknowledgement.
"Yes, I will," she said, eyes down but pleased enough with the fact that she'd stammered less this time around in his presence than before. "Thank you for having us."
Another victory, however small.
