It was a cool enough day, though sunny, that Hinata was glad for her coat as she walked beside Hayley and keeping an eye out for anything untoward. It was unlikely that they'd be attacked, to be entirely fair, but it never hurt to keep an eye on things just in case

They rounded a bend in the trail and the wooden walls of the village came into view, rising up and up more than five, nearly ten stories up. So solidly put together that not a single chink or crack showed. Metal pipes ran up the walls at points, and over, to disappear into the village.
Right down the road they were on was the gates--wide open, the kanji for fire painted in scarlet on them and overhead the name of the village written out. In the middle of the frame was the symbol of their village, the Konoha leaf, and the exact match to the one she had on her headband around her neck.
