Miss Millie, Hinata thought, staring moodily out the window of the room she shared with Warren and Yei, would surely understand that she was not coming in today. She left a
message anyway and hoped for the best.
Lowering her phone, Hinata frowned. As… whatever it was ate more and more of the island, Hinata could only feel that it was prudence exemplified to stay indoors and not wander out for something so unimportant in the grand scheme of things as a part-time job at the bookstore.
Turning away from the window abruptly, Hinata picked up Yei--who was quite excited by this change in routine and promptly tried to bat at Hinata's nose and plant the other paw in her eye--and settled in at her desk.
If she was not going to work today, then there were other things she wanted to work on.
[Open door, open post. Some SP due to work likely, blah.]
