I like the color of my hair
You should know I'm only writing b/c I have a test tomorrow and I've already run the dishwasher and hand washed all the dishes that didn't fit. I hate Jodi...and no, I don't think "janky" is cute and I hate her. but not anita, just jodi. Lets see, today I ate. That's all, just one meal then another and another and another. Really productive.
Now, on to serious stuff. I watched "last letters from home" on hbo tonight. Well, really I only watched 1/2 of it b/c laura pulled me away. She said she didn't have the time or energy for that. I was hysterical. It was so miserable. I'm just desensitized to all of the war stuff on the news, but it was so sad tonight. The parents that got mail from their kids after they died was just awful. And one mom talked about how her while her son was in iraq, his wife, her daughterinlaw lived on the base. Well one day people started avoiding her, and she got nervous, and called his mom. They both got all scared, thinking other people on base knew something. The mom said that night her daughter in law called hysterical and said "they're here." She said she knew immediately it was soldiers at the door, she didn't have to ask. There was another mom who read the mothers day card she got after her son was killed. It was just so awful and it just made me so glad that my family isn't far away and that jared's hands didn't bend back far enough for him to join the nat'l guard. Thank God his huge hands are weird. Anyway, just had to share that. Watch it, but get some kleenex. I sat by myself and sobbed until laura came and got me.
Okay, I just got distracted by a long ridiculous phone call, and now I really have to go study.
