Umm, I think they were running a compliation promo at some point, and they're were also a few repeats stuck in the schedule. I think.

As for this week's ep, my cable crapped out two minutes into the teaser (and I was trying to tape it for Michelle!) and didn't come back till about 25 minutes in. So this is very garbled... Basically, House was off the current case (I don't know if he did it himself or what) and he was starting to go all withdrawal-sympton crazy--oh yeah--he wouldn't work unless someone gave him back his pills. He tried to steal some from a dead cancer patient's room...Wilson and everyone wanted him to take the cop's deal...Chase made what turned out to be the right diagnosis on the dwarf girl but was ignored; House tricked the pharmacy guy into giving him the dead patient's scrip for OxyContin. Cameron and Cuddy each tried to get House back on the case, one of them realized he was high...the girl's mother chewed House out when he finally showed up--the girl had a tumor on the pituatary, treatment for that and growth hormones would restore close to normal development, and at first the girl wanted to stay like Mom, and Mom was mad at House for wanting her to be normal...but eventually the girl agreed to treatment. Wilson found House semi-conscious at home, almost OD'd on the Oxy, and was furious at him.

At the end House went to the cop and said he'd take the deal (there'd been a deadline for it) but the cop said no way--they'd been tracking at the pharmacy and knew House had scored the dead guy's pills, and so now it was a whole new ballgame and set of charges.
