*Blows Dust off of LiveJournal*
Seems I haven't posted in awhile. I seem to go through those random phases when that happens. Eh. Taking Italian right now. For financial reasons I've decided to pull out of my Hong Kong/Tokyo trip, but I think I should still be able to pull off Rome. Money kind of sucks and our whole economy and how the process works is really broken. Also I still hate capitalism. And my head hurts.
Bleh, college is expensive and I'm getting tired of having such huge debt. I wish there was a way to get the degree I want without putting in another year and a half. If I just stayed with Anthropology I'd be done next spring quarter. Soooo tempting, but to do the work I want to do I'd need a different degree.
Taking Italian this summer. I'm really liking it. My teacher is really awesome. She looks a lot like Vala from Stargate, but not a sociopath. She's really funny. One of those few teachers that you'd like to hang out with outside of the class room. Other bright side of my class, only eight students. That's including me. I much prefer small classes.
Sad to think that a year ago I was in Japan. Since I'm pulling out of my trip I'm hoping that maybe Ray and I can save up over the next year and maybe go next summer. I'd like to go and share it with people I already know. No offense to the kids I went with last year, b/c it was fun for the most part and I did make some good friends through it, I just think it could be MORE fun and less dramatic if I went with people I actually knew and liked beforehand.
