I really like Pearl fic. This is one of the best! Wonderful imagery and anthropomorphization of the Pearl.

Some lines i really liked:
He relished the idea and teased out the reality of it the way he would wind the unkempt hair of a jade around his fingers before wrenching her head back with his fist to hear her hiss in pain. He did much the same with the Black Pearl. Great analogy and visual imagery

The Black Pearl desired widowhood. With her captain immortal, however, her attempts were futile.Just really like this characterization

Slammed flat against the deck in a conjugal embrace that the Pearl took indifferently. Poor Jack...

and the last line. Just perfect.
