*he waited until she'd left the Magic Box before approaching. This wasn't something he wanted to discuss with anyone else. He only wanted to talk to her. He followed her a little while, then finally cleared his throat, when they were more or less alone.* Tara.

*turns, wide-eyed, one hand coming up to her mouth*

O-O-Oz...

*his hands came up empty palms out* Not here to hurt you...I just wanted to talk to you. *he says, trying not to spook her*

*the corner of her mouth twitches up into a hint of a grin*

Oz, it's ok...I'm not scared of you. when you die and come back, it kind of toughens you up a little.

[ozwolf]

*Oz cocked his head to the side in question* You've died and come back? *he asked, not having expected that. he shoved his hands into his pockets and walked closer to her*

*nods*

A-Angel. It's a long story. I don't like talking about him. It sort of makes me...

*she shakes her head furiously, trying to hold onto her temper, trying not to let her angelic aspect surface*

*Oz gave a little half smile, and a short chuckle* ...well then this is going to be easier than I thought. *he commented, reaching up to rub the back of his head* ..I came to apologize to you. And I came here to make sure she's ok...that she's taken care of. I just have to know she's all...that she's ok.

Oh, Oz...she is.

*small smile*

Would you like to come see her? I'm sure she'd like that...

[ozwolf]

*he hesitated, but finally shook his head* No. She doesn't need me in her life. And I'm not sure I'm ready to see her. I just...*he sighed* I don't usually do this much talking. *he said, again with that little half smile* ...things have changed with me. I've got things I need to be doing. I just needed to make sure she didn't need me for anything. You look like you've got it in hand.

*sad, sympathetic smile*

We would have loved to have you at the handfasting ceremony, Oz...

*he paused* ...you're getting married? *he asked, then just sighed, and nodded* ...when and where is it? I'm not saying I'll be there. just...*he shrugged, looking at the ground*

*shakes her head*

*his gaze flicked away* Oh...I see. Well...congratulations. *he said, then nodded to himself* I've got to go, Tara. *he looked up and gave her a little half, sad smile, and before her eyes, he shifted form, and stood there as a black wolf. Not the half man, half wolf, but a full canine. He padded closer to her, looking up at her for a brief moment with blue eyes, then he nuzzled her hand a little, giving the back of it a lick before starting off*

*watches him leave with sad eyes, frowning gently*

Poor Oz...I wish I could do something to ease his pain.
