So I have started a cleansing diet today. I got so logey feeling over the holidays from all the junk food and a total lack of activity. I’m not doing anything to serious, just cutting out wheat and dairy and minimizing meat, though I will have some tuna/salmon and a little bit of chicken (only one night), and pumping in a lot of fresh fruit and veggies. I bought some organic stuff at Superstore, but I can’t afford to go completely organic (I spent $80 as it is). Also taking a few products from NNS, Berry Beauty capsules (cause we didn’t have any Bladderwrack capsules around), Milk thistle and dandelion plus multi-vitamins, flaxseed and lemon water. During the week it won’t be so bad, but the weekend is going to suck.
Also getting back into being active. Hit the gym downstairs yesterday, I’m going to run (treadmill) for a bit tonight. Looking into either joining Nubodys for a while or joining that Elite Fitness Club (less than $25 per month), I’m going to check it out tonight. I mean at that price, even if I only go once a week it’s worth it, and I really miss going to fitness classes. African dance starts this week, earlier than I thought, but still welcome. So if anyone is free to come, give me a call.
