NaNoWriMo 2010: Day 11
Well after yesterday's abysmal day, I wasn't sure what to expect for today. It didn't help matters that I was struggling majorly with how I wanted to write Chapter 7... well not so much how I wanted to write it but how to more or less transition to the different parts of the same scene in the chapter. It took talking/typing out my thoughts to Renee C for me to be able to pull things together enough to write the chapter. It certainly isn't the best chapter of the story and i know I will be revising it a lot during my revision process, but it's a good start and it will allow me to move on to the rest of the story.
So my word count for today was 3,150 which almost makes up for my rack of writing yesterday. My total word count is now 28,410 which means I'm at the between the goal word counts for November 17 and 18th.
My goal for tomorrow is to break 30k and at least get a good start on Chapter 8. Hopefully this weekend I can break 35k (which gets me a new icon!) and get the second interlude of the story completed! And once I write Chapter 9 I'll be halfway finished with the story.
