I'm really beginning to think mom doesn't want me to drive. I ask to drive and there's always an excuse about why we can't go; "It's rush hour. You're not ready for that." "I might be going out soon." "It's time to get Heather, you won't be able to park outside the school."
I've had my license for a week and a half, and I've been driving twice- a total of about 20 minutes, probably less. What I want is an opportunity to just sit and drive, with no destination, no place to be. None of this 5 minutes to this place, 5 minutes back. I just want to drive. Is that so much to ask?
