(no subject)
I really wish LJ had something like AO3's "kudos." I read so many great fics, but I don't always know what to say. I feel stupid commenting with just "EEEEEE -- this made me make dippy happy noises!" On the other hand, I want to let people know that I like what they wrote. I started putting links in a folder to comment later, when I could think of something worthwhile to say. It's full of stuff that I read back in June, so that idea isn't working. Sigh. I know it meant a lot to me when other people commented on my work, so I really shouldn't worry that I'm not saying enough or that what I'm saying is silly. I'm going to try to get into the habit of commenting right away, even if it's just something short, even if I think what I'm writing sounds dumb. Wish me luck?
