Why is it that I always seem to fall in love with the depressing songs before I realize that they're depressing?
Examples: JJ Lin's The Killer, Jay Chou's Nocturne, Jay Chou's The Youth That Ends War, Jay Chou's Dragon Warriors, Linkin Park's My December . . .
Correction, looking at the above list. Why is it that I always seem to fall in love with the depressing songs without quite understanding the lyrics? It's sort of freaking me out, looking at my song list, considering that the majority of my songs are in Chinese and I'm only partially fluent in Chinese . . .
And add Jay Chou's Blue Storm to the list, on second thought.
Seriously, WTF? It's just weirding me out.
(And this is probably Finals-week stress making me freak out so much, but still, there's got to be some reason for this, right?)
