(no subject)
So college is good. I like it. Last night Hali and I were sitting in our room just hanging out talking on the internet and then all of a sudden my lamp goes off and our phones blink off. We figured someone blew a fuse blowdrying their hair. That really sucks because Lisa told us that if that happens the power won't get turned on till Monday since the maintenance crew goes home on the weekends. Strangely, the lamps above our desks were working and my computer that was plugged into the lamp above the desk wasn't using battery power. So I run downstairs to tell the RA at the front desk about it. We didn't know if it was just our room or what so I could only tell him what was going on in ours. He didn't know what to do so he called a few people, tried to get help, I had to go back to see if it was all the rooms around ours or just ours. Turns out it was the whole west side of the building on the 5th floor. How great. Some girl was walking down the hallway saying, "I just plugged in my hairdryer and then the lights went out. I guess I blew a fuse. Hahahahaha." I really enjoyed hearing that and how NONE of the girls that knew that happened had gone down to tell Daniel about it. Guh, as if the problem would fix itself? I don't think so. So then Hali and I went bowling at Sunset. It was hella fun except that with only two of us we bowled two games in like, 30 minutes. It was SO cheap though! $10 for two games and shoes. In Houston, it's $12 for ONE game and shoes! Man oh man. I ate at Chicken Express for the first time ever. It was REALLLLLY good. Now we're off to brunch at Harris or Commons, which should be pretty tasty. Yay for college dining!
