Our next Across the Pond Watchalong will be in one week, Sunday May 13th. We're doing a comment-poll this time: discuss in the comments what you'd like to watch on Sunday. I'm pressing pause on the Ronald Howard and Granada series', since we've been watching them lately. Here are some suggestions from last time to consider, and you can still make new suggestions in the comments. If someone suggests something in the comments you like, say so to count it as a vote.
* Sherlock Hound (1984-1985 animated TV series)
* one of the Rathbone-Bruce movies; I'll suggest The Scarlet Claw (1944), and you can suggest others. Since they're somewhat short (about 60-80 minutes each) we could watch two if there's interest.
* The Strange Case of the End of Civilization as We Know It (1977 movie) with John Cleese
* Listenalong: Professor Moriarty: The Hound of the D'Urbervilles (audiobook) by Kim Newman, read by Tom Hodgkins; the preface and the story A Study in Vermillion.
→ When would you like to watch A Game of Shadows (2011 movie) with Robert Downey Jr.? We'll rewatch the first Sherlock Holmes (2009) the watchalong just before it. We could start that next, or wait for the DVDs to come out in the UK and USA (June). If we wait for the DVDs then viewing times could be off due to different
region coding.
