Snakes and (Corporate) Ladders
I am sure that jealousy and politics in the work place are nothing new. Nor are they, I imagine, what you might call 'becoming.' Nevertheless.....
Today I read an e-mail from my bosses line manager to a colleague of mine, thanking them for their hard work in delivering a project that they had absolutely nothing to do with. There are no two ways about it. This person had no hand in delivering this project to the client.

I and a line report of mine, however, went through extraordinary pain to deliver this project to our client.
Extraordinary.
Pain.
Today, I have mostly been hating the corporate life.
