History:
NeverLand Crisis was started off by childhood friends Akira and Shin as a visually influenced high school jrock band formally known as "Single//66" where Akira partook the position of vocals and Shin on Bass.
Playing mostly cover songs with few original songs of their own, Single//66 proved to be popular with high potential of succeeding in the music industry in the future but due to personal reasons majority of the band's members stopped activities and Single//66 was put to an indefinite stop. Finally in the middle of their second year of high school, Single//66 disbanded.
However it was in the middle of their senior year when Akira finally, with slight reluctance, resumed band activities with Shin. Unfortunately with their lack of many need members, the two were forced to treat the band as something to pass time with before they finally recruited Rian and Kitsumi, a drummer and guitarist, they had meet during a live in Tokyo during winter.
Still feeling that something was missing, Akira added the final touch to the band; the last member - Rui who joined as the band's official second guitarist.
By Christmas 2001, the five were playing in Live Houses and small pubs around their hometown of Kanagawa prefecture (Kantou; east Japan) before deciding to move to Tokyo. Thus the band formally started activities in 2004 under the name of NeverLand Crisis releasing their first demo single titled [Hatsumi;Autumn: ハツミ;オタム] which almost immediately propelled them to fame.
On April 24th, 2004 - after releasing another hit single [Tokyo no Aki]; NeverLand Crisis joined the Red Abyssal Label and has progressed quickly through the ranks of jrock stardom with their ever yielding talent with music and unique looks.
Music:
**Akira as the vocalist, has a strong and clear voice which can hit almost any note. Because of this, he is able to sing in a variety of songs often depending on the mood he puts into the lyrics he writes for the band. He also plays the guitar and piano。
Shin plays the bass to his own pace often creating hauntingly beautiful bass solos and blends for NeverLand Crisis' songs. He plays fast with precision and with years of experience with his instrument, his playing is first hand professional and controlled.
Being a self taught guitarist Rui plays the most electric solos in the band. He hits each note accurately rather then let loose as his spotlight sharing guitarist partner Kitsumi and thus tends to be a bit stiff. His style of playing is usually dark and melodic.
Kitsumi on the other hand plays the guitar freely in any way possible. He's playing is fast, wild and unpredictable. Playing the most acoustic in the band he also does some back up vocals.
Experienced and mature, Rian plays the drums his own way often ranging from heavy headbanging notes to a series of more accurate composition of notes. He often plays the drums with fast precision bringing out the more rock/heavy feel of the band.
*The band's sound can be described as one of stylish heavy rock with a hint of funk and visual even though due to the five having different tastes, they play a variety of genres from ballads to alternative rock to dark Gothic.

Akira:
NeverLand Crisis' youngest member and vocalist.
Often called the prodigy by his band mates, Akira is extremely talented and professional with what he does and tries to not let any personal problems get in the way of his career.
Calm, collected and mature for his age, he appears to be the sensible one in the band but there are often times when he can be playful. Starting out as a visual/heavy rock fan, he now enjoys trying out varieties of music and has an addiction to video games and accessories over which he is completely defensive about. He likes winter, writing, eating, sleeping, music, reading manga, singing randomly, lives, the internet, window shopping, cds and his band. He dislikes huge flying bugs, soft drinks and selfish people.
Shin
The co-founder and bassist of NeverLand Crisis, Shin is a high energy performer with a good sense of humor. He is a perfect gentleman and loves the good side of life. He's also in to online games [especially WarCraft], food, books, fashion, green tea and anime. He doesn't like too much of pumpkin, IQ questions, ignorant people, fish and over processed women.
Though the lively one, Shin can also be dark and moody when he wants to. Only then will he only want to spend time with his bass and Akira.
Rui
Neverland Crisis’ second guitarist and latest addition, Rui is a self taught guitarist who by chance met Akira and Shin through a friend. The mystery of the group, he usually doesn’t speak as much as the others but when he does he often surprises them by uttering the most random of things. He also speaks English quite fluently.
With a talent for art, he often designs the art covers for the singles.
He likes reading deep novels, wine, the television, his cellphone, computer and his guitar. He doesn’t like drunks, candy, ignorant people and junk.
Rian
The drummer of NLC is considered the sexy one of the group. Rian loves nothing more than having fun and living his dream. He’s bold, loves cracking jokes [even though they do not make sense half the time] and flirting openly with almost anyone - especially the band members even though he is straight as hell.
Though quite the ladies man he is, Rian is unexpectedly innocent and usually enjoys the quiet fun side of things.
His life is made up of his favorite pack of cigarettes, STARBUCKS drinks, his drum set, clothes, jewellery, his laptop and his band mates. He dislikes anything too depressing, having nothing to do and solving puzzles.
Kitsumi
Neverland Crisis’ oldest member and first guitarist who joined the band the same time as Rian, Kitsumi loves to be the tough one although he loves goofing off. He is regarded to be almost as much as a ladies man as Rian even though he won’t admit it saying that he’s “not interested in things like that at the moment”,
He can have mood swings where he has a complete change of character. When moody, he is dark, sarcastic and unfriendly. He also tends to be more sadistic.
He likes doing lives, watching movies, walking in the street, long showers, women and writing. He dislikes most pop music, stupidity, most sweet foods, spending too much money and having to wake up too early. Kitsumi also does back up vocals and co writes some of the band songs.
