My little friend has improved in her singing. I am quite pleased with our progress. If things continue to improve, we might even conduct a little concert. The first few days we have spent together were certainly trying, but with dilligent training and countless correction I must admit that I am now sure what career I will take up when my later ( Read more... )

As for the creature under my care; I cannot say it favored me, but rather I came upon it and decided to make it my responsibility to guide its potential, however short our time together may be.

Perhaps they have had not much need to resort to subtleties, considering the reasonably amicable relationships the Wu enjoys with its allies and non-allies alike.

I had no intention to dodge your question. It is a strange round ball of pink. It sings, though I cannot say much about its abilities at the moment. Like an instrument, it must be fine-tuned to bring about the best music.

Do take care of it until the admiral finds a suitable means to handle these animals. As much as I may dislike the thought of this ship becoming a mere zoo, I rather not for these creatures to suffer needless.
