nice, but i thought it was quite an odd ending. how did he feel about it? :)

It's written rather ambiguously, so I'd say it's up to you to decide how he really felt about it. It could be glee at having someone as nice as Rangiku around, feeling shy about her bold approach, being speechless with the fashion he woke up, and the like. I didn't really have a set mood in mind when I smacked the ending in there, haha.
