Been a crazy, awesome week. angelicoma and siberianclaws are at Kansai Airport this very moment, waiting for their flight back home. I wasn't able to see them today before they left because I had to work early today, but we had our bonding session last night, so it's all cool :3
Went to Over The Edge '10 last Monday, and it was by far the most amazing live I have ever been to. I actually wasn't looking forward to going because I hate crowds and fangirls, and with such a massive lineup of major bands, I really thought I was going to die there. Vidoll, ドレミ團, heidi., 凛 -KISAKI NEW BAND-, ダウト, 12012, サディー, girugamesh, Mix Speaker's,Inc., 逹瑯 (ムック) and 玲央 (lynch.) were there, so it was crazy. Rather embarrassing too because I ended up going all out for the first time with girugamesh (or any band for that matter) because that band just has the power to energize everyone in the hall. That, and 左迅 has got to be the hottest piece of being I have ever seen in real life. Lol.
I ended up crying during heidi.'s last song, which was a wtf moment for me, but 義彦 is just such a mind-blowing vocalist, and ナオ is absolutely amazing with his guitar. But that aside, the real reason I ended up crying was because I was reminded of how much I loved visual kei, and why I decided to come here to Japan in the first place. It reminded me that I had dreams to follow, and lately I've had nothing but doubts and uncertainties with myself and my future, so it really inspired me to focus, stay on track, and get my game going.
I've talked with my manager, and I'm officially quitting. I'll have to work at the hotel for about a month more, and I'm out. My parents and my folks don't know yet, and I know I'll be in big trouble once they do. I'm hoping to find a new job before the waiting job runs out, because at least I won't be scolded as much. Well, I don't care really. No one can stop me. Lol. I have my Starbucks interview tomorrow, so much luck to that. Hopefully I get a livehouse stint soon too :)
Funny when I came home from work earlier today and I received a package in my mailbox and saw this on my door.
Turns out it was this.
Mao, Benjas, I love you guys. No one has ever done something this sweet for me before T_T
