'Member how I said a few days ago that I was only vaguely into One Direction? LOLOLOLOL. Raise your hand if you saw this coming. o/
Ugh, despite their awful, atrocious, no good hair, they are all really, really pretty and like to touch each other inappropriately, which, let's face it, is pretty much all I need in a band. Plus, I listened to their album today and I actually like it! It's a solid pop album. I mean, they don't have a song wherein we can cheer them on by chanting their name loudly and repeatedly but I found myself humming the melodies to the songs well after I'd stopped listening. I kind of wanted to lol at the lyrics and then I was like 'Really, self? You're a fan of Panic at the Disco, don't even go there. Do you remember 'Riddle?' 'Giddy Up?' Just, no.' I got curious as to who sings what and who just kind of stands in the back and looks pretty and gets to sing in the chorus and so, found myself youtubing One Direction at work. As you do. I watched One Thing acoustic because I've seen lots of flail about that on twitter and tumblr and yeah. Boys can sing. I was impressed. I still don't know how a live show would work as it's been stated to me many times that they don't dance. Do they just sort of mill around the stage aimlessly? How does that even work?
And speaking of work, I blew up at my whining whiners who whine manager today. I said it nicer but the basic gist of it was YOU THINK YOU'RE SPECIAL BECAUSE YOU HATE YOUR JOB? ALL JOBS SOMETIMES SUCK AND ALL COWORKERS SOMETIMES SUCK SO STFU AND STFD AND GET OVER IT. I mean, really. Seems like he spends more time complaining about the things other people do wrong than he does working. He got super pouty right afterward but he didn't complain in my presence for the rest of the day so I count it as a win.
WELL I HAD MORE TO SAY BUT BOYCAT JUST WALKED ACROSS MY LAPTOP AND NOW I AM INEXPLICABLY STUCK IN CAPSLOCK SO I'M JUST GONNA CALL IT A NIGHT. SO. GOOD NIGHT.
