dolphins and sea lions and whales, oh my

So. Sea World was... mostly fun. The park itself was awesome. We rode every ride and saw every show and fed every animal there was to feed. The parts that weren't so awesome were when we didn't have the park to distract us. And lunch on the second day when my mom threw a major hissy when I wouldn't let her have a bacon cheeseburger. She seriously didn't talk to me for two hours after that. Whatever. She got over herself when we fed the dolphins.
The highlight of the trip for me was yesterday when we went to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. It's an African Safari, Texas Style. You drive your own car through this ranch and get to see and feed the animals. There wasn't anything too wild, mostly hoofed animals and birds, but there were disclaimers about the park not being liable for damage done to cars or persons. It was a lot of fun. I got to feed an ostrich! Who almost mistook my ring for feed and wouldn't let it go! And then there was the emu who saw where my mom had her feed bag so he stuck almost his entire upper body through her window to get at it. I didn't get any pictures or video of it because I was too busy screaming and laughing. That place is awesome, I highly recommend it! And then I drove us home, got lunch, took a shower and ptfo'd. Slept for about seven hours, woke up, ate cereal for dinner and passed out again.
Got up bright and early for work and stayed an hour and a half past my alloted time. Whatever. What are they gonna do, fire me?
I'm skipping work tomorrow to head out to a job fair. I'm pretty nervous; never been to one of these before and I don't really know what to expect. I have 20 copies of my resume (that I printed out at work, tyvm), bought a new shirt from Target and plan on getting there an hour early, smiling and perky and ready to sell the shit out of myself. If anyone feels like throwing a good thought my way sometime between 11 and 2, I'd greatly appreciate it!
I sort of skimmed my flist but I kinda feel out of the loop. Anything happen since... Wednesday? Besides a freaking AWESOME episode of Criminal Minds? HOTCH &hearts__♥
And now I'm watching some ridic Sci-Fi movie about a swarm of sharks. These people are so dumb. I kind of hope the sharks eat them. I love how the cavalry always shows up after the Big Danger is over. But The Fifth Element is on next! Leeloo Dallas!
